To Hell with the Child Molesters

Oct 05, INDIA (SUN) — One thing I will agree with you all on, I do not understand why someone like Bhavananda is still allowed in ISKCON. He not only beat kids but had sex with them, too.
OK, Braja Bihari Prabhu might have defended Gauri and Dhanurdhara - yes, certainly that was wrong. My point is no matter how much you all scream foul, no one in ISKCON will listen to you. Brajja Bihari is not going to be examined. Do you actually think the Ministry of Justice is working well in ISKCON? Certainly not. I was in ISKCON Mayapur in 1986, I heard all the stories. I talked to one Nepali Gurukula boy who was molested in Mayapur. I was so angry, I talked to several leaders at that time, and nothing was done.
Yes, the Turley case IS deserved. I agree with that. But the offenders are not paying for it. Others who are trying to spread Krsna consciousness seriously are. Is that fair? Please try to understand my points. Do you all really want to ruin ISKCON as an institution because of some bad apples?
Get the offenders and punish them, You want to target Braja Bihari Prabhu. Go ahead, if the GBC will listen to you and they think you are right, they can censor him. My question is, why are you not attacking Bhavananda first? He is one of the few molesters who is allowed to serve in ISKCON. Or Satyadhana? Fair is fair. Let it all come out. I have absolutely no problems with it. I am still angry with Bhavananda to this day for all I have been told that he did. His story has been posted here rightly before by Rocana Prabhu and others. He is a number one asura.
Braja Bihari Prabhu is maybe just a coward who did not speak up, or maybe he did not know all the facts till later. But he is not a criminal. If you lump him in with Dhanurdhara, Bhavananda, Satyadhanya, Gauri, Ananta, and others who molested kids in different ways, that is insane.
Yes, I have a son. And yes, I would never send him to Gurukula in ISKCON. If someone had beaten or sexually molested my son. I would kill him. I still feel intense hatred and anger towards Bhavananda. I cannot forgive him, although others have asked me to. I still remember the Nepali gurukuli from Mayapur in 1986, in Kakinada in South India.
To hell with the molesters. Attack and use your anger against these demons. Not ISKCON, not even Braja Bihari. (Well, if you have a strong case, present it to the GBC - let them look into it.) What else can you do? But I would say first get rid of Bhavananda. He should be banned for life.
Some devotees like Dhrstaduymna was physically thrown out of ISKCON Mayapur for following Narayana Maharaja, but Bhavananda, a known child molester, is loved by all -- especially by Kurma das (the cook) and others. Why are so many ISKCON leaders in love with Bhavananda? Did they all sleep with him?
My objection is, first kick Bhavananda out of Mayapur and ban him for life from all ISKCON temples. Open his case and make sure he serves jail time in India. Maybe this will stop some of the beating Yamaraja has waiting for him.
Braja Bihari Prabhu is a small fish, and was just weak and under the control of Bhurijana, his Guru, and Dhanudhara. Save your anger for Bhavananda... Braja Bihari is maybe no Easter bunny (why would he want to be one, anyway), but I know him well. He is a gentleman. Bhavananda a wild animal.
But your anger is all directed wrongly. Many fools were in Dhanurdhara (swami's) pocket, and he was the most rascal and offensive person in creation. A total raksasa. Now if you want to be angry at someone, I am offering you "Bhavananda". Not to make him a scapegoat for Braja Bihari. However the unwillingness to see how Braja Bihari and his wife have changed the Gurukula in Vrindavan is childish, cultish, and offensive.
Before you judge Braja Bihari simply for hearsay and uncontrolled anger, take the planks out of your eyes. Maybe Braja Bihari does not look too bad after all in terms of what he has and was trying to do. I have presented issues to ISKCON Resolve. Now there is a voice devotees can go to complain. Is he perfect? No. But I know he is sincere. I have known him since 20 years. How about you all? Ever even spoken to the man?
Yes, Mahavidya Prabhu, I stick to it - chant Hare Krsna. What is wrong with chanting Hare Krsna? And neither does that make me an uttama adhikari - keep that post for Srila Prabhupada. We have had enough so-called uttama adhikaris in ISKCON.
