There are several ways you can advertise in the Sampradaya Sun:

Classified Advertising

Send us the text for your free classified ad along with an image (optional) to: sun@harekrsna.com, and be sure to include the word CLASSIFIEDS in the subject line. Your ad will remain live in the site for 30 days, after which you can renew it for a small fee (see below). If your item sells or your classified is otherwise successful, please let us know so the ad can be deleted.

Front Page & Main Section Ads

Take advantage of the Sun's growing readership by advertising on our front page. Your block ad will be located at the bottom of the right column. Similarly placed block ads will be accepted for display on the News, Editorials and Features pages of the Sun.

Block ad sizes are 2.4" wide x 2.8" high (175 x 200 pixels). We accept GIF and JPG images, up to 150 dpi. All images should be optimized before submission. Both hyperlinked and map-linked images are accepted. Please provide relevant URLs and parameters, as needed.

Readership and Demographics

Over the last eighteen months, HareKrsna.com's site traffic has steadily and exponentially increased. As of June 2005, according to site statistics published by Alexa (Amazon's site traffic reporting company), HareKrsna.com's 3 month average traffic rank was 831,459. With our launch of the Sampradaya Sun, a new promotional campaign was engaged, and a significant increase in site traffic coming through the Sun's front page was accomplished.

As 2006 comes to a close, our accumulated site hits for the year are very close to a total of 14 million hits. To our knowledge, no other Vaisnava website in the world enjoys verifiable traffic at this level. Consistently, the great majority of this traffic now uses the Sampradaya Sun as their 'front door'.

Currently, the majority of our site traffic comes from the US, Australia, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, UK, and India, followed by Singapore, Belgium, Mexico, Italy, France, Brazil, New Zealand, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovak Republic, Peru, and Switzerland. HareKrsna.com is accessed regularly by visitors in over fifty countries around the world.
