It's Just a Matter of Time

Sep 17, MANCHESTER, UK (SUN) — It is certainly a sign of great weakness in ISKCON that someone from such a controversial background as Devamrita Swami has re-entered the movement and in such a short time become a GBC and guru. He did this, as pointed out by Kurma Prabhu, by rubbing up to the right people. Take his offer of disciples to ISKCON Melbourne, thus gaining the favor of the Temple President there, who we understand is Secretary for the GBC.

But, as was also pointed out by Kurma Prabhu, there are many devotees who stand opposed to the Swami and his fanatical disciples such as Sita-pati and others. Whenever you hear or meet any of Devamrita Swami's disciples, you always get the feeling that they carry a perception of themselves as being superior to others. (What to speak of the Swami himself). They are caught up in the guru hype and are very stereotypical of what we have seen in the past with disciples of the Zonal Acaryas.

But who is willing to stand in the way of such GBC bullies as Ramai Swami and Devamrita Swami, the tag-team champions of Australasia? Maybe it is only Lord Krishna in the Form of Time that will finally bring them down for the count. Certainly if they continue to spend devotee's money, as we have seen in the Fiji Resort case with Ramai Swami, and Devamrita Swami's ever expanding wardrobe, expensive medicines and luxury travel, they will be exposed in the near future.
