Kripamoya das, 'The Corporate Man'

BY: ANANTA DAS

Aug 14, USA (SUN) — I am concerned after reading the 'whitewash' of the newly appointed figurehead Temple President of Bhaktivedanta Manor, Kripamoya dasa. Somehow he saw fit as the newly elected head of the Manor to readdress this issue with yet another official statement to the Manor's congregational members and public by reiterating the Manor's Management's statement of support for Gauri.

His statement on the sad and unfortunate resignation of the 'much loved' Gauri dasa is nothing more than making a show of where his loyalties now lie. For, although he is not directly stating it, he is in fact explaining what is happening with Gauri dasa as being based on an over-zealous CPT bending to the wishes of some ex-kulis who are looking for someone to blame for their suffering, and Gauri is a hapless victim in all of this!

Most of the informed devotees of the Manor know what has happened and how Corporate ISKCON has supported Gauri, even though they knew that he was guilty of violently beating little children under his care. They also know that the Manor Authorities knew as well, and yet they still appointed and supported him. They also know how the CPT has stalled this case for over ten years, under pressure from the GBC and devotees such as Braja Bihari, who have supported Gauri from day one. It is hard to believe that this is the same Kripamoya dasa who for the past decade has been "preaching" how the devotees and the community should come first and the Corporate Institution last... RIGHT !!!

Over the years Kripamoya has been justifiably critical of his 'self-appointed' Godbrother Gurus for living and enjoying the 'high life' of people abusing position and power. Now after years of being in the shadow of his senior Godbrothers he finally gets a position of fame and power, and he turns around and acts in the very same way that he has preached against for all these years!

This means he has to eat all of his words from the past where he derided this very same path and mentality. Now he has to take the position which sees the Corporation coming well before the individual and the needs of the devotional community. So he will write letters like this and kissass as far as the corporate leaders of ISKCON want him to go.

Lacking the charisma and charm of his senior Godbrothers, if he desires corporate advancement, he will now have to embark on the difficult climb up the corporate ladder by kissing up to his superiors.

Now he is in the world of other devotees who are climbing the very same corporate ladder - Greats like the infamous Pragosha, Anuttama, and Sesa. He has to bow down and kiss the feet of ISKCON's corporate guru, His Divine Disgrace Braja Bihari, who from under deep cover, will now begin Kripamoya's delicate instruction on who to protect and who to shun, what to support and what to block. If Kripamoya passes all tests by listening to them and by supporting criminals, then he will be able to begin to ascend the ladder of success.

Now we will be seeing Kripamoya changing, and not for the better. He will develop more of an air of superiority, there will be less chit chat, laughing and joking. He will have more secret meetings and emails in which he will side with the party who is wrong or criminal. He will get his orders from above him on the corporate ladder, and not Srila Prabhupada's instructions or his own better judgment.

Every decision he makes to support the corporation and the criminal will seal his fate even more. We will all see through his words like we do in this letter of his. We will see like he used to be able to. We will see the lie that lies below...

But Kripamoya prabhu, it doesn't have to be this way. Speak the truth out loud. These children are not lying. They are looking to you again for their support. Please don't fail them. Ok, so the corporate boys will not be happy and so long as they rule the roost you will never be able to climb again, but, what is more important???

It is never too late....
