Wasting Time on Side Issues

Mar 12, USA (SUN) — I don’t mean to offend anyone but seriously, this ‘ongoing debate’ on whether to take or not to take initiation is so boring. Both sides talk on for hours while so many more important issues are at stake. What is clear is that if this was such a serious matter, then Srila Prabhupada would have left precise and definitive instructions well before he went into Samadhi. He didn’t. That is what is clear.
Maybe it would be more important to ask “why” he did not leave any clear instructions and only remnants of conversations and letters remain? Maybe they were purposefully lost????? But really what is a cause of real concern is how devotees do not care about the Secularization of ISKCON? Surely this is a very serious matter?
Discussing side issues is somewhat akin to two engineers on a Destroyer Battleship (US ISKCON) discussing the chain of command when there is a gaping hole in the side of the ship that was caused by spies. The same spies who are feeding the same chain of command information to change their course and head back and begin rocketing their own Naval base!
For the time being who really cares about the chain of command! Sure it is important, but first fix the hole or we will sink. Then seek out the spies and expose them for the traitors that they are and then punish them.
What they want is for us to go around arguing and squabbling like a pack of hens while they do their damage. This is exactly what Kali wants. Fix this first. Do the needful.
