Stop Passing the Buck to Sri Krsna

Feb 25, USA (SUN) —

I was pleased with the philosophical arguments found in both Rupanuga das' and Bahushira das' articles. I would like to make a comment on Bahushira das' statement:

"So do the Neo-Gaudiyas say these words have no meaning? They are just fabrication? This is just pudding for babies? Of course not, because Prabhupada means what he says."

Srila Prabhupada said that a drowning man that is drowning in the ocean should not ask who or why the rope was tossed to him. He should just get out. Srila Prabhupada answered his disciple's questions, as Bahushira pointed out. However, he did not think that it was important for devotees to dwell on this topic. Rather, he expected us to act on his instructions.

It is obvious that the Neo-Gaudiyas are, as Rupanuga Prabhu pointed out, making excuses for not excepting their responsibility for their fallen condition. It is humility, as he pointed out, that is required for elevation in Krsna Consciousness. They should stop passing the buck to Sri Krsna.

I heard one Godbrother say that the concept that Sri Krsna has a "bhakta program" in the spiritual world where bhakta's bloop is ridiculous. My answer to this statement is that the only ones that are ridiculous is us, those who have come to this world. The buck stops at our own feet. We are the responsible ones for our fallen condition. Sri Krsna has given us free will. Love cannot be forced. It is always your choice, not a flaw in Sri Krsna's creations, both material and spiritual.
