Following in the footsteps of Srila Prabhupada, who met on numerous occasions with his world famous supporter, George Harrison, Radhanath Swami has also cultivated a follower with some star power. As recently reported in the pop culture ezine Zimbio, Radhanath's shining star, Russell Brand, has joined him on the media circuit to co-brand himself and the Swami's unctuous novel, The Journey Home. The picture above shows the duo, on a meet-up at NPR studios.

Radhanath Swami distributed a book (no, not Srila Prabhupada's book… his own book) to Russell's friend, who stands reading in the background. However, based on the report from Zimbio, "Russell Brand Has Big Plans for His Honeymoon with Katy Perry", it seems Russell would be better served with a copy of Bhagavad-gita As It Is and a few pointers on controlling the senses:

"Katy Perry and Russell Brand married in a lavish ceremony in India on Saturday, and yesterday they jetted off for their honeymoon. Russell, for one, knows exactly what he wants to do on the romantic vacation. The comedian joked he would spend the next few days "taking Katy through the Kama Sutra."

The photo of Brand below left us wondering if Radhanath's preaching has caused Russell to begin manifesting his four-armed form… or is this just a bad Photoshop job?
