ISKCON Chicago Honors Three City Leaders

Mar 26, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (INDIAPOST) A group of Indian Americans and ISKCON Congregational community in Chicago joined hands to hold a reception for City Clerk Miguel Del Valle, City Treasurer Stephanie Neely and 49th ward Aldermanic candidate Joe Moore.
The event held prior to the recent local elections was well attended. Sunil Madhava Das, ISKCON president welcomed the guests while Nand Kapoor, former president of Association of Indian Americans introduced Joe Moore. While Miguel Del Valle and Stephanie Neely got elected, Joe Moore is in a run-off election next month for his Aldermanic seat in the City Council.
Prior to the presentation of the honorable guests to the congregation, blessed garlands from Lord Krishna and the Temple deities were given to each candidate.
