Srila Prabhupada! Ki Jaya!

Nov 08, 2010 — MEXICO (SUN) — By glorifying Srila Prabhupada, our life is sanctified and purified. We begin this glorification with a famous verse of the great Acarya Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur, who says:
He reasons ill who says that Vaisnavas die,
When thou art living still in sound!
The Vaisnavas die to live, and living try
To spread the holy name around.
The meaning of Bhagavad-gita 9.28 is that the ordinary person is required to perform the duties prescribed in the Vedas, and although a pure devotee who is fully engaged in the service of the Lord can sometimes seem to go against the prescribed Vedic duties, this is not actually the case. Therefore, Vaisnavas authorities say that even the smartest people cannot understand the plans and activities of a pure devotee. The exact words are vaisnavera kriya mudra na vijn bujhaya. A person who is always dedicated to serving the Lord, or who always thinks and plans how to serve the Lord, you should consider fully liberated in the present and the future. Their return home, return to God, is guaranteed. Such person is above all materialistic criticism, as Krishna is above criticism.
In the Caitanya-caritamrita Madhya lila, 18,128, says: "The word guru is equally applicable to the vartma-pradarsaka-guru, siksa-guru and diksa-guru." We all came to Krishna consciousness by reading Srila Prabhupada's. Srila Prabhupada then acted as vartma-pradarsaka-guru, or the person who introduces you to the consciousness of Krishna. Srila Prabhupada acts as siksa-guru through his books, and it's very interesting what Vaikunthanatha Prabhu states in Video 31 of the collection entitled, "Memoirs of Srila Prabhupada". He says: "And just before Srila Prabhupada came to the steps of the patio, I asked: 'We are distributing many books, but if people [don't read them], then they cannot return to the Supreme Personality of Godhead.' And Srila Prabhupada turned and looked me straight in the eye and said, "ONLY FOR READING MY BOOKS THEY ARE BROUGHT".
In connection with this, please listen to the end where there are questions and answers, in a class given by Srila Prabhupada in Seattle on October 21, 968. Also in the press conference given by Srila Prabhupada 16th of July 1975 in San Francisco, which gives us so much faith in Srila Prabhupada and his books. There it is said:
Journalist: What will happen to his movement in the U.S., when you die?
Srila Prabhupada: I will never die.
Devotees: Jaya, Haribol, laughter ...
Srila Prabhupada: I WILL LIVE FROM MY BOOKS, WHICH YOU WILL UTILIZE.
So Srila Prabhupada said on many occasions, it's all in my books. Some people argue that when you have doubts, you cannot tell a book by Srila Prabhupada, and it will take away the doubt. To me that is not correct. I have personally talked about this with others, and we conclude that reading and reading and reading the books of Srila Prabhupada, the doubts are gone. So Srila Prabhupada said that when in doubt, get together and read my books and doubts will be gone.
I was once told that a devotee had a vivid dream with Srila Prabhupada and Srila Prabhupada in this dream said he was traveling all the planets like Narada Muni, preaching Krishna Consciousness, and in some planets where devotees are very close, Krishna Consciousness expands very quickly, like wildfire, but on this planet Earth. Not only the devotees are not united, but when a devotee stands for his goodness, purity and devotion to SRI GURU And Sri Gauranga, others instead of rejoicing, envy and hinder him. (Srila Prabhupada told his disciples, if you have faith, in 18 days you will conquer the world). In this connection, it is interesting to read Srila Prabhupada's letter addressed to Jayapataka Maharaja, on the 11th of July 1969. It gives us so much hope and joy to see that Srila Prabhupada is still with us. Asked if it is true that the spiritual master remains in the universe until all his disciples are transferred to the spiritual world, he said THE ANSWER IS YES, THIS IS THE NORM.
The appearances of great personalities such as Srila Prabhupada, the Lord Jesus Christ, Mohammed, etc. are designed for Krishna or God to make history in humanity. We now say that 2010 is the year of the Christian era, some day they will say, we are now in the year 4575 the era of Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada prophesied that his books would be the law books for all mankind in the next 10,000 years.
It was Srila Sridhara Maharaja, Srila Prabhupada's godbrother, who said he was a Saktyavesa avatar, Avesa Saktyavesa rupa, a very special soul that descends from the spiritual planets and Krishna holds to do a mission or to be His representative. In this connection it is interesting what he says regarding Bhagavad-gita 4.42: A bona fide spiritual master is in the eternal disciplic succession and does not deviate at all from the instructions of the Supreme Lord. The other day a mother told me that she thought the teachers in our disciplic succession were conditioned souls and that by practicing Krishna Consciousness had been self-realized. I told her no, that all spiritual masters of our succession disciple are pure souls from birth and coming of the spiritual world. And that is why Srila Prabhupada says in the Gita that we are in the succession disciple since time eternal. And if we serve them with love and devotion, we are qualified to return with them to the spiritual world. But if we offend, we open the doors wide to HELL.
Please give me this blessing Srila Prabhupada, that I'll always have your book in my hands, either for study or for distribution to others, because I have full faith that this is the safest and most glorious position in all three planetary systems.
