Quite Correct

My thanks to Harakumara prabhu and Krsna das for their recent comments.
Krsna das is quite correct, Mahavidya das is in illusion.
That is why Mahavidya das reads Srila Prabhupada's books.
That is why Mahavidya das prefers to accept Srila Prabhupada's version over Harakumara prabhu's or even Krsna das's version.
However...
It has become apparent,
whatever Mahavidya das brings to this discussion,
even if it is only Srila Prabhupada's quotes,
it will never fit in with the viewpoint held by Harakumara and Krsna das prabhus.
Of course ....
at this point,
Mahavidya das could respond with an article loaded with sarcasm directed at Krsna das or Harakumara prabhu,
Or....
even let the discussion degenerate into an orgy of mudslinging, name-calling or outright bullying,
but what would be the value of it?
When all is said and done,
am I to listen to them, Krsna das or Harakumara das?
or my own Spiritual Master, HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada?
Srila Prabhupada told me face to face, "become a Spiritual master,"
He spoke to all of us who were present.

The occasion was Srila Prabhupada's Vyas Puja 1973 recorded at Bhaktivedanta Manor.
Am I supposed to apologise for being there at that time?
Perhaps we were not supposed to hear that bit. Sorry.
Krsna das is quite right,
at that time,
I could have asked Srila Prabhupada, while He was sat on the Vyasasana in front of me,
"er, exactly what type of guru do you have in mind Srila Prabhupada?"
But I didn't.
Fortunately...
Srila Prabhupada did leave us with a vast legacy in His books, letters and lectures.
If Srila Prabhupada says "the law of disciplic succession", so be it.
We are all individuals. We may do as we please.
We can accept or not accept.
We can accept directly or not.
We can squeeze whatever indirect meanings we wish.
We can even ignore them.
Do as you will.
It's all up to the individual.
Yet to date
I have never read or heard of Srila Prabhupada telling any of His approximate 5,000 disciples to become a bona fide spiritual master and then leave ISKCON.
Or...
"if you become qualified you must leave ISKCON".
Of course,
according to Harakumara prabhu,
Srila Prabhupada wanted anyone who became qualified to leave ISKCON.
