San Francisco Ratha Yatra 2012!

Jun 22, 2012 — BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA, USA (SUN) —

You are all invited once again to the San Francisco Ratha Yatra festival this coming Sunday, July 22nd 2012. Please bring flags, Hare Krishna signs, and your family and friends. If you are from out of the Bay Area, please make your travel arraignments early as time is ticking away.

WHAT: "The Festival of the Chariots"
WHERE: Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, JFK & Transverse to Sharon Meadows
WHEN: SUNDAY, JULY 22nd at 11AM

Please get some full color fliers from the Berkeley Temple. If you are from the Bay Area, we will be going out on Sankirtana starting July 1st. We need devotees to come out and chant with us and hand out fliers, for coordination with this please contact Sunanda Prabhu at the ISKCON Berkeley Temple at (510) 540-9215.

This year we are asking everyone to contribute flowers; please contact us at (510) 982-6911 to help with this service or if you have any other service you would like to help with, we would most appreciate it.

UPDATE: This year unfortunately due to huge City Permit Fees, we are unable to have Madhuha Prabhu and his Festival of India. On his website, he posted that the Festival of India will not go to San Francisco this year. This created some confusion as to whether or not we are having a Ratha Yatra this year. YES, we are still having the festival so please come on JULY 22nd 2012!
