Scooter Car Rally for Rath Yatra at Ludhiana

Dec 13, LUDHIANA, INDIA (SUN) — A Scooter Car Rally was held by ISKCON YOUTH FORUM (IYF) members and other people of Ludhiana, which crossed through the busiest market and thickly populated localities of the city. The purpose of this rally is to remind the people about the Jagannath Ratha Yatra date, which is December 19, and inviting them to get the special mercy of Their Lordships.

About five hundred youth participated in the rally. Youth were seen chanting the Maha Mantra and the slogan, "JAI JAGANNATH, JAI JAGANNATH" on their way. The District Administration had to divert traffic to give a clear way for the rally.

T- shirts with Lord Jagannath's picture printed on them were distributed to the youth. His Grace Sakshi Gopal das, Temple President of ISKCON, Kurukshetra, flagged off the rally. On the road side, people welcomed the youth with prasadam and garlands.
