'Haribol!' Shock Waves

Oct 19, CANADA (SUN) — Newest comedic magazine creates a stir.

Streams of email arrived yesterday in response to the launch of Haribol! magazine, which either shocked or delighted readers around the world, depending on their persuasion. The issue was happily received by Ruth Regina, an Alachua area wig maker. In true karmi fashion, she's earned her living making wigs for dogs, but thanks to Haribol!, now sees a golden opportunity to think of God instead of Dog. She will begin making wigs for local devotees, ready in time for the Xmas marathon. Meanwhile, ISKCON notorieties are holding onto their hats (and their rugs) waiting to see who is featured in the next issue.
