Dipika.org Editor Retires

Oct 9, USA (SUN) — In yesterday's publication of Dipika.org, site editor Umapati Swami announced that he will retire his service to this Vaisnava news site. Due to his heavy travel schedule and the natural rigors of aging, he has decided to cease publication of Dipika.org. The site content will remain online so devotees can take advantage of the archival material.
In late 2002, the Dipika.org website began publication under the management of Umapati Swami. Having previously been a managing editor of Chakra.org, Umapati Swami's Dipika.org began publication by presenting an archive of "old Chakra" content. Over the last three years, Dipika.org has become a primary news venue for the ISKCON community, and it enjoyed some of the highest site traffic of all the devotee sites.
The Sun Editors extend their thanks to Dipika.org for their years of service, and wish Umapati Swami well with his ongoing service in other areas of preaching.
