Deities Stolen from Ayodhya Temple

Sep 10, AYODHYA, INDIA (HPI) — Three antique 'ashthadhatu' idols were stolen from a temple here last night, police said today. The idols of Ram, Sita and Krishna were found missing from the Janki Raman Kunj Temple in the Pramod Van area. Temple priest Kaushlendra das has filed an FIR in this connection with the Ayodhya Kotwali police against unknown persons, police said.
