Morning Street Sankirtana at Ludhiana

Aug 29, 2010 LUDHIANA, INDIA (SUN) On the auspicious occasion of Sri Krsna Janmashtmi festival, seven days long Morning Street Sankirtana (Prabhat Pheri) has started from August 26th in different localities of the city, to invite everybody at their door step for the coming Appearance day of Sri Krsna Janmashtmi Festival.
On Sunday we had morning street sankirtan in Kitchlu Nagar and Udham Singh Nagar locality of the city, in which there were about three hundred people joining sankirtan. People came out from their houses to welcome Lord Jagannath, Baladeva and Lady Subhadra with flowers and sweets.
Devotees chanted the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra and were dancing. Later in the end prasadam was distributed among the congregation in the house of a local residence.
