ISKCON Alachua Shares Ratha with Daytona Hindu Temple

Aug 20, 2010 — DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA, USA (NEWS-JOURNAL) — Public invited to beach for Hindu celebration.

The Iskcon Society of Alachua with the Hindu Temple of Daytona Beach will celebrate Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival) at 4 p.m. Aug. 28 on the beach at 1400 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach. The procession will end on the beach in front of Sun Splash Park, 611 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, where free vegetarian food will be served.
