Thousands Expected at Krishna Festival at Manor

Aug 8, LONDON (WATFORD OBSERVER) Thousands of people are expected to visit Bhaktivedanta Manor, Aldenham, this week to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. Activities will take place at the temple on Wednesday - the actual date of Lord Krishna's birthday - and Sunday. The Sunday programme will start at midday and go on until 10pm, as pilgrims queue to take a glimpse of Krishna's Deity in his full splendour decorated with over 4,000 flowers. The festival attracts more than 40,000 people.
