Thousands Expected at Krishna Festival at Manor

Aug 8, LONDON (WATFORD OBSERVER) — Thousands of people are expected to visit Bhaktivedanta Manor, Aldenham, this week to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. Activities will take place at the temple on Wednesday - the actual date of Lord Krishna's birthday - and Sunday. The Sunday programme will start at midday and go on until 10pm, as pilgrims queue to take a glimpse of Krishna's Deity in his full splendour decorated with over 4,000 flowers. The festival attracts more than 40,000 people.
