We wish to invite you all here to Goloka Dhama on Friday, August 19th to Tuesday August 23rd, to celebrate the most joyful event of the year: Sri Krishna Janmastami Mahotsava and Srila Prabhupada Vyasapuja. We are happy to have followed the suggestion to extend the festival so that everyone can participate. So if you only have time at the weekend, you will not miss anything this time. You can experience the following:

• Harinama in Trier with HH Swami Sacinandana (on Saturday, with only bus registration!)

• Sri Krishna Lila Katha (every day during the festival)

• Seminar Venu Gita (flute, vocals) with HH Swami Sacinandana (every day during the festival)

• Seminar Krsna-Lila/Gaura-Lila with HH Madhavananda Prabhu (every day during the festival)

• Bhajan with Gadadhara Prabhu and other devotees (every day during the festival)

• Traditional Maha Abhisheka ceremony (on Monday & Tuesday)

• A particularly auspicious fire yajna ceremony with Amaraprabhu (on Monday)

We are very pleased that Sri Prabhu Madhavanada our guest speaker from Orissa, India is accepting our invitation. He is a very learned Vaisnava and has for many years all over the world, seminars on Krsna consciousness. As editor of Krsna Kathamrta bindu magazine he has done for more than 15 years a very steady nectar-service to the Vaisnavas. He travels with his wife Krishna Kund Mataji and they are to be our honored guests 18-24 August. His seminar "Krishna Lila's Gaura-lila, Gaura Krishna Lila Lila" is a true inspiration for all Gaudiya Vaisnavas.

Srila Swami Sacinandana during these days will give a very nice seminar entitled "Venu-gita". More info here.

We encourage anyone to seize this rare opportunity to listen to the spiritual realizations of these experienced devotees.

We want to organize a bus for all on Saturday, Aug 20th to travel together on Harinama to Trier. Anyone who wants to ride should let us know no later than August 10. The bus ride (round trip) costs 18 € per seat.

Festival fee: 20 € per day / person including accommodation and prasadam in the ashram (or in your own camper, bring your own tent, etc.) Children under 12 free. Unfortunately, during the festival only ashram seats are available, but if you want to rent a room / apartment you can settle in one of the guesthouses in the area. For all those who spend the night outside, the festival fee prasadam included 10 € / day. Please get in touch early on so that we can calculate all the better.

Want to help?

Your help and your opinions are always welcome. In particular, we need helpers for renovations before the festival, the tent up, for the tables and benches for lawn mowing, etc. If it is possible for you, even a week before the festival to come and help, then we can offer you a discounted stay. Julan Yatra

From 09 to 12 August sees the Julan-Yatra. Swing Radha and Krishna on these days in the forest of Vrindavan, as this gives you a pleasant cooling. Our little Radha-Krishna Deities are pleased to have on rock Them on those days. This will be each evening at 19.30 clock in the Temple area, respectively, and in good weather held outdoors. All are welcome to attend!

Sri Balarama Publication day: Sunday 14 August

Before Sri Krsna's Appearance came His elder brother Balarama in this world. Under the care of Nanda Maharaja, he was living in Vrindavan, and made all the inhabitants of Vrindavan joyful. Later he followed Krishna to Mathura and Dwaraka.

"Bala" means force, "Rama" inner joy. We pray to Sri Balarama for spiritual power, so we are not influenced by Maya's obstacles in our Krsna conscious progress. We want to serve Krsna in pure form and reach the inner satisfaction and happiness that we have sought since time immemorial in this material world.

On Sunday, 14 August will we celebrate the Balarama Sunday Feast. For this we are hosting Sri Sri Krishna-Balarama Silas by Aditi, who will again be bathed! There will be Abhisekha for Sri Sri Krsna-Balarama, bhajans, Lila-katha, cakes and Maha-Prasdam for all.
