Clarification on Kashmir Temple Report

Jul 8, HAWAII (HPI) — Yesterday's report on Kashmir was found to be misleading. The report says, "The Tripursundari Vaishnavite shrine at Devsar in Anantnag district welcomed hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits, who had migrated from the Valley in 1989 with the onset of militancy, abandoning the temple." A reader writes, "What is this 'migration'? The Pandits were driven out by the Islamic militants. Even today they are not able to return permanently back to their homes."
