May 12, BANGALORE (DECCAN HERALD) — ISKCON is organising the third batch of its Culture Camp from May 15 - June 4.

ISKCON is organising the third batch of its Culture Camp from May15 - June 4. The camp will include interactive classes on the Bhagavad Gita, puppet show, personality development, animatronics show, games and quiz among others. In addition, opportunity will be provided for enhancement of skills too. The fee for the three-week course to be held at Iskcon premises at Rajajinagar is Rs 500.

The temple is also celebrating Sri Narasimha Jayanthi on May 12 at 6 pm. Thousands of devotees are expected to participate, according to a release.

The deity of Lord Narasimha will be smeared with sandalwood paste for a week. Offerings like milk, curds, etc will be given to the deity, while devotees chant bhajans and mantras. A homa will also be performed. The deity will then be carried in a flower bedecked palanquin which will be followed by another abhisheka, various types of aartis, including one comprising 108 ghee lamps.
