The great Pallava king Narasimha built this Tamil Nadu port in 630 A.D. It is now 1377 years old. The entire place is mostly carved into the mountain. This two-part video is set to the Carnatic music of famed veena artist Nattai. The composition is entitled "Jagatha nantha karaka", composed by Sri Thiyagaraja Rag.
