Mirchi Bangalore holds 'Cow Fashion Show' at ISKCON Temple

Jan 15, BANGALORE, INDIA (RADIOANDMUSIC.COM) Radio Mirchi Bangalore (RM-B) presented ‘Kombu Mela', a cow fashion show at the Iskcon temple in Bangalore yesterday on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
Ten teams of three each from colleges of Bangalore strove to dress up cows with themes varying from the basic ‘Gow Mata' by the Sindhi College to an ‘Astronaut Theme' from Seshadhripuram College, covering diverse subjects that included Indian bridal dress to global warming and eco-friendliness.
One of the teams from Vogue Fashion Institute (VFI) was awarded the first prize of Rs.10,000 for its "Beauty and the Beast' theme. The first runner up was also a team from VFI with an ‘anti-plastic' theme. The second runner-up was the "Astronaut Theme'. The second prize was Rs. 7,500 and the third prize Rs. 5,000. Other colleges that participated included the fashion team from Surana College, KLE College, Presidency College and City College.
