 May 20, 2010 — CANADA (SUN) — A systematic review of ISKCON-related corporations and projects. Today we begin by mapping out from a number of entities connected through director Harish Patel (Hari-Dham das) to Iskcon of Orlando, Inc. Judging by their names, the four corporations in the opening cluster appear to be ISKCON related, and appear to have directors that are related to Hari-Dham das, all having the surname name, Patel.
A reminder that in the context of this corporate mapping study, denoting an entity as "ISKCON related" is a loose definition. It does not mean that the corporation is conducting business as or with an ISKCON temple, or even that it is a preaching project. It simply means that the name of the entity indicates it is connected somehow to the devotees. Whether or not other connections to ISKCON are later identified we don't know, although it's quite likely, given that temples naturally tend to do business with companies owned by members of the congregation. In fact, ISKCON history shows that there have been a number of instances where temple properties were co-mingled in various ways with privately held corporations, as temple assets were being re-positioned.
