Corporate ISKCON - Part 16

May 18, 2010 — CANADA (SUN) — A systematic review of ISKCON-related corporations and projects.
In today's Cluster Report, we have completed two keystone connections branching off from the Iskcon Miami, Inc. node. The first is from Hugo Romeu (Murari Gupta dasa (BMS), who is linked to a large cluster of corporations. Likewise, we have a large list of entities connected to Fabio Silva, a director of Forbidden Films LLC, which is connected to Iskcon Miami, Inc. via Silva's co-director, Jeff Beal.
In both cases, the long lists of corporate entities associated with these two individuals, directly and by a degree of separation, appear to be mostly unrelated to ISKCON and the devotees. We include them with brief mention, so that they remain searchable in the master index. As connections are identified in future between any of these entities and ISKCON, we'll backtrack and fill-in the blanks.
Today we came across an example of how such connections can manifest in subsequent reports. Robert Mabin (HH Rtadhvaja Swami (ACBSP), first appeared in Cluster Report #10 through his connection with Iskcon of Gainesville, Inc. The corporate records at that point didn't indicate that he is also connected to ISKCON of Florida, Inc., but with today's Cluster Report we can see the connection between these two corporations, through Rtadhvaja Swami.
In today's report we have another ISKCON corporation that is not currently active -- Iskcon of Florida Inc. In this and similar situations, it will be interesting to learn why an ISKCON preaching program ceased to actively operate, and whether or not a new corporation was formed to carry forward the same yatra. Which, if any, of the original directors moved on to the board of the new corporation? Where there significant changes to the bylaws between the old and new corporations? How were assets vended from one entity to another? And aside from the assets, what problems or circumstances may have been left behind, as the legacy of the old entity? Hopefully all such pertinent details will become known in future, as this reporting process unfolds.
Tomorrow, we will continue to map out the related corporations and directors associated with Iskcon of Orlando, Inc., of which there are many.
