Once my wonderful Godsister, HG Yamuna dd, who died recently, asked Srila Prabhupada, if she was in ISKCON when she had moved out of the temple with a Godsister. Srila Prabhupada replied, You are in ISKCON where you are chanting HARE KRSNA! </font></font><p><p style='text-align:justify'><font face="verdana"><font size=2> Simple but revealing and profound. It begs the question& where is ISKCON now? In the compromised Temple at the Bhaktivedanta Manor in the UK? Or Seattle's Hindu ISKCON? The list goes on, you know the story. It's become badly changed, compromised. Just a shadow reflection of the once pure and simpler ISKCON, that was once surrendered to book distribution and Bhakta-making as its sole source of income. </font></font><p><p style='text-align:justify'><font face="verdana"><font size=2>Since the departure of HDG Srila Prabhupada, the GBC Body who was supposed to protect and insure the HIGH standards set by Srila Prabhupada for the next 10,000 years almost totally trashed them, and to this day the damages lingers on in all of ISKCON. ISKCON's GBC has failed to uphold Srila Prabhupada's exact Instructions, on almost all issues from the BBT to Temple management and devotee care. We feel loss on all levels of our lives this year. Loss of prabhus, loss of ISKCON. We feel the loss of Srila Prabhupada's pure ISKCON to a compromised ISKCON. </font></font><p><p style='text-align:justify'><font face="verdana"><font size=2>Many devotees left us from this mortal world, and we feel that loss and pain. I know loss profoundly. I lost my wife, Lavanga Radhika dd this year, a sincere devotee who served Srila Prabhupada's mission unselfishly. She was not a world figure, but was very special and in many ways more advanced then the so-called GBC body, and those gurus who have abandoned Prabhupada's mission for deviations and changes to his ISKCON. In reality, the real heroes in ISKCON are the rank and file devotees, not the high profile ones. The many 'regular' devotees who never get the spotlight. </font></font><p><p style='text-align:justify'><font face="verdana"><font size=2>Many wonderful Godbrothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, known and unknown have left us too soon, making ISKCON more empty of its true strength. Is there hope for us and ISKCON? YES, there is. We can pray for real reform in ISKCON, and here are my prayers for ISKCON: </font></font><p><ul><p style='text-align:justify'><font face="verdana"><font size=2>Dear Lord Sri Krsna, </font></font><p><p style='text-align:justify'><font face="verdana"><font size=2>As your surrendered devotees all over the world, <BR> we have been heartbroken at the many losses of<BR> our Prabhus (devotees) you choose to take back<BR> to Godhead in a sudden unexpected way this year. <BR> We are dearly missing His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, <BR> who is the pure Founder-Acarya of ISKCON. <BR> ISKCON has suffered greatly because of his departure from us. <BR> This you already know, all the details.
