Srila Prabhupada gives lecture on God consciousness in the Tagore Society of New York Inc. (Srila Prabhupada landed in Boston in 1965 with the sole purpose of fulfilling the wish of his spiritual master to spread Krishna consciousness in the English speaking world. Initially Srila Prabhupada had to endure a lot of hardship. There was no proper forum to introduce the topmost philosophy of Lord Chaitanya there. An opportunity arose at the Tagore Society of New York Inc., where such a meeting was organized only for the most distinguished persons. He was introduced by the Society as a great personality engaged in the monumental endeavor of translating the sixty volume Srimad-Bhagavatam from Sanskrit into English.)
