Counteracting the Great Guru Hoax

BY: KURMA DASA

Nov 08, AUSTRALIA (SUN) — "Actually, Prabhupada never appointed any gurus. He didn't appoint eleven gurus. He appointed eleven ritviks. He never appointed them as gurus. Myself and the other GBC have done the greatest dis-service to this movement the last three years because we interpreted the appointment of ritviks as the appointment of gurus. After Prabhupada's departure, what is the position of these eleven people? Obviously, Srila Prabhupada felt that of all the people, these people are particularly qualified. So it stands to reason that after Prabhupada's departure, they would go on, if they so desired to initiate."
    (HH Tamal Krishna Goswami, 3/12/80)

And go on they did! In fact, the move by these so named "particularly qualified people" was very swift and calculated. They put themselves on the level of Srila Prabhupada straight away, and began taking aggrandizing worship that was meant for Srila Prabhupada, for themselves. How offensive they and their supporters were to their godbrothers and godsisters, whom they did not even have the decency to consult. Rather, they pushed on with their top dog syndromes.

This how we got to where we are today, an even Greater Hoax being served up to a generation who have become the Zombies of a 2/3rd voted-in cheating guru system. After we were cheated with the Zonal system (which the current system replicates), why did devotees initiated by one of the first eleven seek re-initiation? Considering Tamal Krishna's statement above and the fact that most of the eleven are finished when it comes to initiation.

Isn't it a fact, then, that ALL ISKCON members whose initiation was facilitated via the first eleven are Srila Prabhupada's disciples? It is admitted here by Tamal Krishna Goswami isn't it? And Ravindra Svarupa, one of ISKCON's henchmen admits it here:

"Prabhupada's ritvik appointment therefore indicated, those whom he hoped would be able to become actual guru; but he did not appoint them gurus."
(Under My Order, Raindra Svarupa Das)

This stuff is not up for a ritvik debate either, these are factual statements made by men who were given grandeur within the Society. I believe that ISKCON members should not be seeking re-initiation under such enigmatic circumstances and such a mystery should be thoroughly dealt with by the GBC lest they end up in the courts, from rightfully angry, disenfranchised members.
