Meltdown… So What?

(SUN) — I would just like to point out that I know Senior devotees who, faced with the "Y2K" (year 2000) "crisis/impending doom", went so far as to purchase rubber "Radiation Suits", complete with hooded helmet. When asked how these would be helpful given the aggressive Florida heat, the parties concerned were somewhat embarrassed.
That was 9 years ago.
It is always a poor bet that "The end of the world is near". And if it really is, so what..... Our home is elsewhere.
