Money at the Manor

BY: DANDAHARI DAS

Jul 23, UK (SUN) — I feel compelled in reporting in reply to current issues at Bhaktivedanta Manor. First of all I would like to applaud the brave recent comments made by Kishori devi dasi, who had the courage to stand up against the cover-up's at the Manor. Kishori mata ji questioned about the benefits that Gauri will have? Well I heard that Gauri is due to receive a big pay-off. He will continue to receive the same wages, which must be around GBP 1,500, approximately US $3,000 at least per month, maybe for a further 3 years after stepping down.

I feel there is some corruption here. Gauri das must have been in it for-the-money all along, with his backers in the temple council who have been hiding behind him and dipping into the honey pot themselves.

I understand that the renounced former leader, Sivarama Swami, was also on the monthly payroll before he left. Did he also get a back-hander? I find it hard to understand where the question of devotional service comes in. Somehow these lusty persons are just in it for money, etc. It’s like a type of white collar clergy or professional priests that are highjacking what Srila Prabhupada wanted for their own gratification. What about the cover-up of the former BBT man, Amita dasa, who creamed off as much as he could grab from the UK BBT? That was hushed up by them as well, even though they new Amita was not following the 4 regs for a long time.

Incidentally HG Tribuvanatha, bless his soul, not so long ago made his own inquiries into why a devotee named Prana bandu had paid for a home near the Manor, worth at the time GBP 250,000 (that’s US $500,000), when most of his devotee life he had no money at all and worked for a charity ISKCON? HG Tribuvanatha, the oldest devotee in the UK, continually requested meetings to address his findings with Sivarama Swami and Akandadhi, which all came to no avail as they ignored him over and over again. If they had nothing to hide, why was he ignored?

Apart from this, HG Tribuvanatha was being bullied and sidelined with his preaching and he became very ill with the stress, and somehow all of a sudden got stomach cancer. It’s envy, because HG Tribuvanatha was one of those rare souls who never sole money from ISKCON and Bhaktivedanta Manor, but gave his heart to Srila Prabhupada.

The question is, is there something more sinister about these gangsters at the Manor? Is it a cult or Occult? Money makes people behave in strange ways. This mentality must be stopped at once. It's being going on for too long.
