May 17, 2014 — USA (SUN) — Recent topical articles in the Sampradaya Sun relating to the many deviations within ISKCON seem to fall short of calling out the designers of these deviations and those who have allowed their implementation. Citing the three types of criticism aforementioned by Sriman Jaya Madhava Prabhu coming from Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur's Vaisnava Ninda, this essay follows proper procedure in exposing those who seek to usurp the position of the nitya-siddha Acarya, Srila Prabhupada.
The exponential downward spiraling of world culture is undoubtedly a result of the progression of Kali Yuga. However, there exists a primary agency which, acting entirely under the influence of tamas and rajas, works with mechanical precision to effect the degradation of society worldwide. This network of financial control coupled with total information control works in tandem to enslave whole countries while subduing the populi with base forms of entertainment, known as "weapons of mass distraction". These entertainment networks are also the news networks, as there is now virtually no hard news left except that which is carefully filtered and retouched to keep the people in fear, thus creating an artificial dependency on the governmental structure for perceived security against contrived threats.
True investigative reporting is primarily absent from these formats. It is now most exclusively found online. The result of this shift has savaged the readership and viewership of mainstream publications and networks while skyrocketing the "ratings" of online forums, blogs and news aggregators.
We have observed, within the hierarchical structure of ISKCON, a similar top-down approach to controlling the minds and mindsets of existing and new members. The GBC has adopted a unilateral and iron-fisted methodology for dealing with those who plainly see that the "Emperor has no clothes". Repeated falldowns and ever increasingly bizarre deviations are covered up, exactly as they are done in secular governance, with the result being that the temple members and congregational attendees alike have to turn their heads and hold their noses in order to take darsana of Sri Sri Radha Krsna in the temple and partake of Their prasad.
Phalena pariciyate. The fruits have fallen so far from the tree that they are mostly unrecognizable. Sri Krsna plainly says paurisam nrsu, that He is the ability in man, and he can remove the ability of those whose behavior besmirks the reputation of Srila Prabhupada at a moment's notice. Sri Krsna also says, unequivocally, that He is the source of all remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. Sarvasya caham hrdi sannivistah. The Sanskrit sarvasya, 'of all', leaves no wiggle room.
The big, big 'sannyasis' with their six- or seven-figure bank accounts can have their ability to remember Krsna's lotus feet removed. Their bank accounts can also be liquidated or converted to worthless paper at the drop of a hat. This is not unknown to these pretenders, so they willingly go along with the scam, the parody of wealth known as fiat currency, for it fits in nicely with their plans of temporal enjoyment. Srila Prabhupada's divine plan for daivi-varnasrama pulls the rug out from under this imaginary, debt-based wealth by establishing small, independent farm communities. This model eliminates the need for fractional reserve banking, as the cows and the land provide all the real and tangible wealth that the householders need, and the true renunciates subsist perfectly well on the charity provided by these Krsna conscious households.
Unfortunately, ISKCON has adopted the neoliberal ideas of the sectarian West epitomised by Hridyananda Maharaja's glaring philosophical inebrieties. Western Vaisnavis, aspiring for power and a large base of sycophantic disciples from whom to extract excessive daksina, fail to acknowledge that Srimati Jahnava Devi was and is an eternal associate of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and an eternal associate of Sri Sri Radhika Devi and Krsna in Goloka Vrndavana. By applying some critical thinking and allowing Srila Prabhupada to open one's eyes with the torchlight of knowledge - caksur unmilitam yena - one can see through the ruse currently operating as ISKCON in America and Great Britain which, incidentally, house the primary players in the secular power structure (New York City, Washington D.C. and London) working at fever pitch to crush the spirit of the struggling populus.
Srila Prabhupada said that Krsna consciousness is not possible on the hellish planets, because the mind is too disturbed. The demons controlling the secular world are well aware of this and are frantically trying to subvert any grassroots efforts to unseat them from power while simultaneously creating 'terror' events to keep people scared and dependent on government "security". The leaders of ISKCON who have 'drunk the Koolaid' have consciously traded off the preyas for the sreyas. They react to any attempt to put ISKCON back on track with petulant cries of 'guru aparadh'. Srila Prabhupada told us that there is no such thing as a bad guru. If he is bad, he's not guru.
It is time to stand up for Srila Prabhupada and defend his position as nitya-siddha jagad guru. We must preach strongly and truthfully. The Mayavadis used to cross the street when they saw Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati coming. He was Lion-guru. We can't imitate. We can only follow.
