Apr 23, 2014 — USA (SUN) — Apparently now ISKCON finds some need for "horror movie" background music and other sound effects to be added to some recorded story told from the Vyasasana. Apparently the simple presentation of the conclusions of Guru, Sadhu and Sastra is just not quite enthralling enough these days.
This was found on the Dandavats website, which is of course the "Official" propaganda mechanism of current ISKCON, so I'm assuming this type of presentation was completely authorized by ISKCON authorities.
(Regarding Guru, Sadhu and Sastra. I'm avoiding exploring the fact that the story reeks of having found its origins in some Indian comic book.)
Please help me out here. Can anyone who was present when Srila Prabhupada was here imagine him approving of someone adding Hollywood/Bollywood background music and sound effects to his recorded lectures?
