The Big Bang

Apr 13, UK (SUN) — A recently posted article, "Point of Order",
discussed the demolition of the Prabhupada murti.
I was there in New Vrindavan at that time, traveling with the Bhaktivedanta Players.
We all heard the bang in the night.
Upon inquiry we were told some cows had been trapped in the space underneath the murti,
getting in but unable to get out with serious consequences, and that had been the catalyst, the last straw, for one of the residents to demolish it with a bulldozer.
We brought back a chunk as a memento.
I don't remember seeing Jayadwaita Swami there at that time.
