In Praise of Older Devotees

Mar 18, TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA (SUN) —

The old youth of the Hare Krsna Lord came back to dance and sway,

Easing along the promenade with pomp, colour and time,

The Holy Name danced forth from their hearts, as it did on their very first day.

They kept in step as best they should, old yes but eternally prime.

Pilled high were the papers of pain and ink, dried past promises told,

But still they pushed forward with clash and boom, blazing smiles in spite of their feet.

Srila Prabhupada! and Lord Krishna! they sang, keeping their promises of old,

And on they went chanting Hare Krsna to and beyond the end of life's street.
