May I comment on Bhakta das's latest offering, "No Falls from Vaikuntha".
How much of HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's teachings do we wish to edit out?
After all... at present, I am reading Teachings of Lord Kapila by His Divine Grace.
That particular book is a collection of lectures given by Srila Prabhupada.
Should I not be reading it?
What about other books by Srila Prabhupada?
The bottom line is… do we or do we not accept everything Srila Prabhupada is telling us?
Or do we become selective?
Do we accept Srila Prabhupada 100%, or just the bits that we want.
We pick and choose what suits our meagre understanding.
Is it that Srila Prabhupada got it wrong?
Is it that... Srila Prabhupada was not being straightforward with us when he spoke to us or corresponded with us?
Are His lectures no longer valid?
Or is it…
that He is right and it is us that need to change?
May I suggest…
we are the ones with the defective mentality.
Perhaps…
we are forgetting the position of the Bona fide Spiritual and His disciples.
