No Falls from Vaikuntha

BY: BHAKTA DASA (ACBSP)

Mar 16, THAILAND (SUN) — I am much pleased to read H.G. Isvara das's comments in his recent article, " On the Falling/no-falling of the Jiva". Maya vadis also say this is all MAYA and only BRAHMA is real. When we say this is a dream only and we are really in Goloka with KRSNA leela, is this not basic Mayavadi concepts, "Brahma satya jagat mithya"?

The first thing we learn from His Divine Grace's Bhagavad-gita introduction is that there are five subjects in the Gita -- time, nature, God, the living being and karma -- and how all of these are eternal except KARMA which can be stopped, but is anadi, without beginning.

In the end there is not any point to try to figure out when we came here, because it is not possible. We may have been running up and down in one universe or another for countless breaths of Lord Vishnu!

What is important, now that we have the human form, is to understand Who is God, what is my relationship to HIM, practice acting in this relationship, and develop pure love, so at the end of my life I can remember HIM ALONE and enter HIS eternal abode, from which one never returns.

Where in the GITA or in the Uddhava Gita, or anywhere in the Bhagavatam or Caitanya-caritamrta does Lord KRSNA or Lord Caitanya say that we can get out swarup, and then somehow be again attracted to enjoying with a woman in the material world? Where does Lord Krsna state anywhere that His Maya is welcomed in His abode? How is it possible that the ghastly emotion of envy of KRSNA enters HIS abode?

I do not accept it.

I have read everything available that Srila Prabhupada has said, written, and discussed, and as H.G. Isvara has rightly said, his books are the sastra, his letters, conversations, walks, lectures and classes are all given at times, places, to people, and these factors must be taken into account.
