Perverting the Sacredness of Motherhood
BY: RAVANARI DAS
Jan 20, USA (SUN) In Krishna consciousness we are taught to revere women as our Mothers—is anybody listening? Do people still remember this stuff? With our initiation came the responsibility of following Srila Prabhupada's example of respecting women. A true Vaishnava man never exploits women out of hurtfulness. Our Guru Maharaja displayed undying adoration for all mothers: the cow, the earth, Mrs. Gour Mohan De, his friend's mother, his friend's wife, etc. Prabhupada said, "We are so much obligated to our (natural) mother because she has given us this body, which is suitable for going back to home back to Godhead." Women all loved Prabhupada because he gave a sacred meaning to their identity. But this "motherhood" is a sacredness that some perverts calling themselves as "disciples—or even "gurus"—have worked overtime to destroy.
Yes, there are degraded scoundrels in this very movement who do not at all mind hurting women because their minds are rotted from the inside out with sickness and strangely perverse attractions to children. Demonic pedophiles in the robes of sadhus have inflicted immense harm upon a once-celebrated movement, by harming the most vulnerable -- the women and children. Women who must bear alone at night the molestation of their beloved children have been hurt equal to their offspring by the cruel acts of danda-wielding child molesters. Like their children, the victim's mothers have also been raped.
Neither could the mothers within the institution look up to the GBC for protection, and as a group were failed and stonewalled again! Those jet-setter leaders of ISKCON, along with their professional flatter-boys called "servants", swept these crimes under the rug for years. One forgotten "leader" at the time was even posing as some avant garde artist-turned-Irish-setter madcap. It is a great crime that innocent women "raped" of their motherhood were forced to stand by and see their children molested by a saffron-clad pedophile under the noses of an ineffective GBC. What pain did the mother of those children feel? Those are God-sisters, women whose feet we look at with respect. So I doubt any man can imagine their pain. Not until he gets his ticket to Naraka, that is.
When the handwriting was on the wall, who raised up a cry against the voice of tyranny? What about when Shrila Bhaktipada wrote his very own Gita commentary, committing a grand aparadha when the standard version for the yuga (along with the Bhaktivedanta Purports) had just been published. What Mayavadism! And you all turned your other cheeks, because many wanted to be writers like him. Indeed, many of you actually succeeded (in becoming writers and artists like those two old dead trees).
And still until today, tyranny demands, "Oh so! What side are you on?" And those who never learned the fine art of hitchhiking (to get away from you) just hung around, stoking your hamtown doomsday fires, pretending you sent them to paradise. So nobody said nothing then, and the problems continued until the Palace of Murder imploded upon its very self. Finally an imitation of the cool breeze of a collective voice of a conscience echoed a "We're sorry ‘bout that" from who-knows-where. Nobody likes to apologize until he gets caught, but some never do (and so burn in hell).
Till today has America turned from "Good Ol' Friend o' the World" to "World Tyrant" ; and within the movement so has the tyrannical American form of college liberalism sabotaged many a would-be devotee by enforced college diploma-ism in a hopeless economy. They have not learned that the tyrant raises this head like a reptilian Kali. The sins of Kali Yuga must be nipped deep, right now and in the bud, if sankirtan is to succeed. But instead of becoming devotees, the sex-ploited victims have hidden out, deprived of honor, faces of fear unable to become devotees because the good old boys in the perp club will not fess up. Thus pain continues endlessly.
Some of you who sit on the thrones believe them, one and all, to be human refuse. For you, the victims in their anger are merely the worthless faces in the crowd in the cesspool to doom. But they are there because leaders failed to speak out against Mayavada. Like termites on a rampage, small offenses of Mayavadism have grown to a cancer by which a swami stands consumed in horrible lust. That, too, while we must stand in silence and witness one outrage after another.
He who fails to speak is specifically at fault for this rotten influence on Srila Prabhupada's movement:
Right there and right square with your fair share of bad karma and lack of care for what you did dare. Ah-h yes, good Dr. Kildare!
