The "Padophile" Dilemma: Send the Murderous Swami Back Home

BY: RAVANARI DAS

Jan 15, USA (SUN) — When considering what to do with Shri Molersterpad, one might consider that ISKCON's first sannyasi was very dear to Prabhupada and therefore he might be somehow be considered exempt. Others will call this mood as sentimental cowardice and inexcusable complacency. Taking quite an opposite point of view, activists will declare:

Mentally sick individuals in the dress of Vaishnavas who have violated, abused, deceived, cheated, raped or otherwise have caused great physical and emotional pain to other Prabhus, including innocent children, deserve their just rewards. It is not for one man to forgive that pain which was inflicted on another. Neither has the padophile asked for forgiveness. For those of you who wish to get the criminal, murderous swami out of Ulhasnagar, the following information and addresses will prove useful.

Ulhasnagar was settled by Sindhis (Hindus from what is now Pakistan) in 1947-8 and as a result, many names end with "-ani", the Sindhi's trademark. These Sindhis have grown very rich and powerful. Many are highly influential. Concerned devotees should contact the police, but also the Lion's and Rotary Clubs. Explain to the police the names of the gentlemen whom you have written to in the clubs.

When you go to Bombay, have a face-to-face meeting with the Thane police and take evidence with you such as a copy of Monkey On A Stick by John Hubner and print-outs from the Sampradaya Sun and other articles. Thane District, and Ulhasnagar town, is about 80 minutes by train north of Bombay. Do not be confrontational with the police—only exemplary Vaishnava gentleness will work. Respect their job and religious feelings. Take some Gitas in Marathi (the police are all Maharashtrians). Be as straightforward and sober-minded as possible.

Get your friends together and have a letter writing campaign. Be sure letters to the police express your devotion to Srila Prabhupada and the sankirtan movement he founded. Explain that you as a devotee would like their help to purify the movement, and in that way you are on the same side, since there is no room for cheating in Krishna consciousness. Contact Matajis of ISKCON and have ladies write also. The ladies were especially left with painful feelings by the New Vrindaban deviants.

This will get you started:
